Trinity Blood (Whole Series) Great anime, I enjoy watching it everytime
XXXHolic (24 Episodes) adapted from CLAMP'S manga of the same name
Clannad: After Story (whole season) It's the sequel of Clannad, It's one of my favorite animes of all time
Desert Punk (24 Episodes)
This Ugly yet Beautiful World (12 Episodes) a good anime that makes you think
Dance in the Vampire Bind (12 Eps) I like the manga better
The Sky Crawlers (film)
Ah My Goddess!
The Little Norse Prince (film) directed by Isao Takahata, the co-founder of Studio Ghibli
Noir (Series)
Princess (film) Danish anime film that is not for kids, its about a pornstar's legacy, her brother and her daughter.

Do you happen to remember a specific anime that featured a lazy protagonist and had the power to transform into a purple armored suit? I know its very broad but I know it was on Netflix and believed it to have come out during this time. Sorry for the broad description but hey, there's a 99.9% chance you won't respond so go big or go home, amirite?
